GOOSEBUMPS 25 YEARS of MARINA

In 1995, Sugartown released their debut album, Swimming in the Horsepool on Marina Records. Since then I have had the privilege to work with Marina many times. As a member of the groups Suragtown with Gwen Stuart and Cowboy mouth with Grahame Skinner and then Starless.

Goosebumps features one of my very first recordings. Chris Thomson and I started Friends Again Circa 1980 and we recorded our first demo at the Hellfire Club in Glasgow in 1981, Marina have included our version of the classic Velvets track "Sweet Jane" from that session. So 37 years on it finally has made it on vinyl. I am also pleased to say it includes the Sam Barker Axor remix of Starless featuring Paul Buchanan and Karen Matheson. It’s a fantastic compilation with fantastic artwork.
